Saved replies are named snippets your staff send in Discord. Thea posts the text under its own name, with a footer that names the person who sent it. Members cannot tell the difference between a saved reply and a typed Thea message except for that footer. Configure them in Settings → Saved replies. Send them with /macro send.

Create a reply

  1. Open Settings → Saved replies.
  2. Give the reply a short name (this is what autocomplete shows).
  3. Write the body.
  4. Save.
A server can store up to 100 saved replies.
Saved replies cannot @mention anyone. Mentions in the body stay plain text so a canned reply cannot ping @everyone or a role by accident.

Send a reply

Anyone on your support team can send a saved reply in a channel or ticket:
The name option autocompletes. To see everything stored:

Who can manage them

Creating and editing saved replies is an admin dashboard action (macros:write). Sending them in Discord is available to staff who can use /macro — typically the same people who work tickets.

Tickets

Saved replies are the canned responses for ticket work. There is no separate /reply command. Use /macro send inside the ticket channel the same way you would in any other channel. See Managing tickets.
